  Elsie Mile was cooking despite her team's loss,   going 4-for-5 with one  home run, four  runs,  and one  triple. She is also on a roll when it comes to  stolen bases, as she's  now  snagged  at least one in each of the last three games she's  played.
As for Bennett,  the  victory made it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 4-2. The  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 15.0 runs over those games.
 On Bennett's side,  Colby Robichaud made a splash while hitting and pitching. She  tossed three innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit. What's more,  Robichaud posted five  strikeouts, the most she's  had since back in September of 2024. She was also stellar in the batter's box,  going 2-for-4 with three  runs, two  doubles,  and one  stolen base.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Basalt will host Meeker  at 11:00  a.m.  on Saturday. The Cowboys have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 14.33  runs per game on average), something the Longhorns will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Bennett, they will be playing at home against Centaurus  at 4:00  p.m.  on Thursday.
