If Johnson were expecting to get some payback for the 20-27 defeat against Mound-Westonka the last time they met, then they were left disappointed. Johnson were within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Friday, as they fell 7-12 to Mound-Westonka. This makes it the second defeat in a row for Johnson. The game pushed Johnson down to 0-2 and pulled Mound-Westonka up to the reverse at 2-0.
Both teams are staying within the conference for their upcoming matches. Next week Johnson take on New Life Academy/St. Croix Prep at 4:00 PM. As for Mound-Westonka, they will face off against Patrick Henry.
