The Oxnard Yellowjackets have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five contests by 20 points or more this season. They were the clear victor by a 67-44 margin over Camarillo. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Oxnard.
Mikayla Oliver was her usual excellent self, scoring 20 points along with four steals. Another player making a difference was Sofia Salgado, who scored 14 points.
Oxnard's win bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Camarillo, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-2.
Oxnard will head out on the road to face off against Pacifica at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Camarillo won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Rio Mesa at 7:00 p.m. on December 16th. Rio Mesa is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
