South Fork was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 9-8 heartbreaker at the hands of the Willits Wolverines. One positive for the Cubs, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

South Fork now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Willits, their victory ended a 12-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. South Fork will face off against Hayfork at 2:00 p.m. on Monday. South Fork is facing Hayfork at the right time seeing as Hayfork is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Willits, they will host Middletown at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
