Even though the Ridley Raiders have not done well against the Methacton Warriors recently (they were 0-5 in their previous five matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Ridley breezed by Methacton on the road to the tune of 49-21. For Ridley, this counts as revenge for the 57-41 loss Methacton walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2022.
Ridley's win bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Methacton, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ridley will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Conestoga at 7:00 p.m. on December 12th. As for Methacton, they will be playing at home against Mt. St. Joseph Academy at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
