Ramona had a senior duo take command as Ava Wallace scored ten points along with nine rebounds and six steals and Alexa Moreno scored 11 points along with three steals. That's the first time this season that Wallace pulled down eight or more rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Akayla Chaple, who scored seven points along with three steals.
Meanwhile, Arlington's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their eighth straight loss. They were outmatched by Norte Vista at home and fell 55-10. Arlington has struggled against Norte Vista recently, as their matchup on Thursday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Ramona is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-10 record this season. As for Arlington, they bumped their record down to 2-20 with that loss, which was their fifth straight at home.
