They were dealt  a  48-0 defeat at the hands of the South Granville Vikings on Friday. The Fighting Red Wolves just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.
 Matthew Asay threw for 46 yards  on three of ten attempts.   Mason Hughes was his top target, picking up 46 receiving yards.
  Jaylen Wilkerson was  his usual excellent self, rushing for 127 yards and three  TDs on only 13 carries for South Granville. Wilkerson's rushing production has been exceptional  recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 127  rushing yards.  Ashton Hailey-Alston helped out on the ground, rushing for 82 yards and a  rushing touchdown.
Cedar Ridge's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for South Granville,  the  victory snapped their losing streak at three games  and leaves them with a 2-4 record.
 Cedar Ridge wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next  game,  a  53-6  loss against Seaforth on the 10th. As for South Granville, they have also already played their next contest,  a  48-0  win against Carrboro on the 10th.
