If B-G-M was riding high fresh off their 11-3 takedown of Twin Cedars on Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bears fell 5-2 to the North Mahaska Warhawks on Monday. The Bears' defeat signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

B-G-M's loss dropped their record down to 11-4. As for North Mahaska, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 13-2.

Looking ahead, B-G-M will square off against Belle Plaine at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Bears are facing the Plainsmen at the right time seeing as the Plainsmen are stuck on a 17-game losing streak.
