Brookville is 10-0 against Bradford since January of 2018, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Saturday. The Brookville Raiders will be playing at home against the Bradford Owls at 2:30 p.m. Given that the pair suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.
Last Tuesday, Brookville ended up a good deal behind Punxsutawney and lost 51-36. While losing is never fun, Brookville can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 351st, while Punxsutawney is ranked 53rd).
Meanwhile, Bradford's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their fifth straight loss. They fell just short of Port Allegany by a score of 32-29. Bradford has struggled against Port Allegany recently, as their game on Monday was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.
Brookville now has a losing record at 6-7. As for Bradford, their defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 3-11.
Brookville strolled past Bradford in their previous matchup back in February of 2023 by a score of 51-35. Will Brookville repeat their success, or does Bradford have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
