The Brawley Wildcats won the last time they faced the Calipatria Hornets, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Brawley strolled past the Hornets with points to spare, taking the game 42-27. The win made it back-to-back wins for Brawley.
It was another big night for Breanna Montano, who scored 17 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaelyn Salceda, who scored eight points.
Brawley is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-9 record this season. As for Calipatria, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-12.
Brawley will head out on the road to square off against the Scots at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Vincent Memorial will be looking to extend their current nine-game winning streak. As for Calipatria, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. Southwest EC is no doubt hoping to put an end to a five-game streak of away losses.
