The Pearl City Chargers scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Wednesday. They claimed a resounding 52-20 win over Waialua at home. The victory was nothing new for Pearl City as they're now sitting on four straight.
Pearl City's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Aiesha DeWeever, who scored nine points along with six assists and six steals. Those six assists set a new season-high mark for her. The team also got some help courtesy of Kiaryn Efhan, who scored 14 points along with six rebounds.
Pearl City's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-2. As for Waialua, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Wai'anae the next time they take the court. Waialua will host Wai'anae at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, while Pearl City will head out to face them at 6:30 p.m. on December 22nd.
