North Branch won the last time they met up with Denfeld, and they shouldn't regret having come to the reunion, either. North Branch managed a somewhat close 22-16 victory over Denfeld.
The win bumped North Branch's record up to 4-2. The loss dropped Denfeld back to even at 3-3.
Next week North Branch take on Grand Rapids, MN at 7:00 PM. These teams both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous games. Denfeld will be playing at home against Hibbing at at 6:00 PM. Given that they both suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.
