The Bravo Knights will be taking part in a tournament against the Vaughn White Tigers  at 3:00  p.m.  on Saturday. Both come into the  match bolstered by wins in their previous  matches.
Bravo is headed in fresh off scoring the most  runs they have   all season. They put the hurt on Lincoln with a sharp  10-4 victory on Friday. The team's explosion at the plate also rewarded the Knights with their most commanding win of the  season.

 Steven Castillo made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound,   pitching two innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   two  hits. What's more,  he posted three  strikeouts, the most he's  had since back in April of 2024. He was also big at the plate,  scoring a  run while going 3-for-3.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Joshua Torres, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 2-for-4.  Aydan Rivas also deserves some recognition as  he  scored his first  run of the season.
 Bravo  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .571. That's the best  OBP they've posted all season.
 Meanwhile, Vaughn posted their closest  win since April 27, 2024 on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with  a  1-0  victory over Port of Los Angeles. While the White Tigers didn't have the best season last year (they finished 11-15), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.
 The  win made it two in a row for Bravo and  bumps their season record up to 3-4. The  victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 6  runs in those games. As for Vaughn, their record is now 7-5.
