Central Gwinnett's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Timothy Smith, who scored 20 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which Smith has scored at least a third of Central Gwinnett's points. Another player making a difference was Donte Golden, who scored 13 points.
Mill Creek has been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-12 record this season. As for Central Gwinnett, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-11.
Mill Creek will head out on the road to challenge Buford at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Buford will be looking to keep their seven-game home win streak alive. Central Gwinnett will take on Collins Hill at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
