Hauser is a perfect 10-0 against Morristown since May of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Jets will take on the Yellow Jackets at 5:00 p.m. The last three games Hauser has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
On Friday, Hauser needed a bit of extra time to put away South Decatur. They had just enough and edged out the Cougars 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Jets have posted since May 10, 2025.

Stryker Gill was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he struck out 11 batters over 7.1 innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off six hits. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in April. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
Gill wasn't the only one making solid contact as five players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was R.J. Foster, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.
Morristown couldn't beat Waldron on Friday even though they stacked four runs on them in the first inning. The Yellow Jackets lost 15-8 to the Mohawks. Yellow Jackets fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against the Mohawks since Friday.
Mason Bentley was cooking despite his team's loss, going 3-for-4 with four RBI and one double. Another player making a difference was Russ Kleine, who went 2-for-4 with two runs and two RBI.
Hauser's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-4. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Morristown, they now have a losing record of 8-9.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Monday as neither team is afraid to steal. Hauser has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 4.1 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Morristown struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 4.6 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
