Softball Recap: Elsberry Picks Up Fifth Consecutive Victory

Elsberry extended their winning streak to five on Tuesday, bumping them up to 7-1. They put the hurt on the Montgomery County Wildcats with a sharp 10-1 win. Considering the Indians have won six games by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

As for Montgomery County, their defeat ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss they have suffered since September 12th.

For Montgomery County's part, they saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Reese Hill, who went 1-for-2 with one triple. That triple marked the first that Hill has hit this season.

Looking ahead, Elsberry will be playing at home against Winfield at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Montgomery County, they will square off against Owensville at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
