The Corning Cardinals lost against the Trinity Wolves back in December of 2021, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Corning took a serious blow against Trinity, falling 41-12. Corning has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Trinity can attribute much of their success to Ava Pike, who scored 15 points along with 3 steals. Another player making a difference was Kloe Kist, who scored 8 points.
Corning's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Trinity, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Red Bluff the next time they take the court. Trinity will head out to face Red Bluff at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, while Corning will host them at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
