The Paradise Bobcats are on the road again on Tuesday and plays the East Nicolaus Spartans at 7:00 p.m. on February 6th.
Last Friday, Paradise suffered a tough 44-22 loss at the hands of the RedHawks. While losing is never fun, Paradise can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 1073rd, while the RedHawks are ranked 311th).
Meanwhile, East Nicolaus made easy work of the Lions on Friday and carried off a 54-28 victory. East Nicolaus pushed the score to 47-20 by the end of the third, a deficit the Lions cut but never quite recovered from.
Paradise has been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last ten matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-13 record this season. As for East Nicolaus, their win bumped their record up to 14-9.
Paradise couldn't quite finish off the Spartans in their previous matchup back in January and fell 47-45. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of East Nicolaus' Rylee Gillespie, who scored 16 points along with six steals. Now that Paradise knows the damage she can cause, will they be able to stop her this time? There's only one way to find out.
