The Fallbrook Warriors have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six games by 25 points or more this season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Wednesday as they easily beat San Pasqual 77-22 on the road. That 77-22 margin sets a new team best for Fallbrook this season.
Fallbrook was led to victory by Claire Nordeen and Grace Nordeen. Nordeen dropped a double-double on 24 points and 14 rebounds, while Nordeen dropped a double-double on 31 points and 19 rebounds. The matchup was Nordeen's ninth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Janice Garcia, who scored 17 points along with six rebounds.
Fallbrook's victory bumped their record up to 12-6. As for San Pasqual, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-10.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fallbrook will take on Ramona at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Ramona comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 20 points in their last four games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse. As for San Pasqual, they will stay at home for another game and welcome Mt. Carmel at 5:30 p.m. on January 12th.
