Rib Lake had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it five on Tuesday. They walked away with a 6-3 win over the Gilman Pirates. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Redmen also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2024.

Rib Lake's victory bumped their record up to 13-5. As for Gilman, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Rib Lake will head out to square off against Marathon at 4:45 p.m. on Thursday. The Red Raiders' pitching crew has only allowed 3.2 runs per game this season, so the Redmen's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Gilman, they will head out on the road to challenge McDonell Central at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
