In what's become a running theme this season, the Buena Park Coyotes gave their fans yet another huge win on Thursday. They blew past Fullerton 76-25 at home. Winning may never get old, but Buena Park sure is getting used to it with their sixth in a row.
Buena Park's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Gloria Barrera, who scored 21 points along with five steals. Barrera is on a roll when it comes to points, as she's now scored 16 or more in the last ten games she's played. Another player making a difference was Mya Barnes, who scored 22 points along with five rebounds.
Buena Park has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 contests, which provided a massive bump to their 19-8 record this season. As for Fullerton, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 17-15.
Buena Park won't have much time to rest: their next game is against the Eagles at 6:30 p.m. on February 2nd. One thing working in Etiwanda's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last 16 matchups. Fullerton does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
