The Quartz Hill Royals's three-game losing streak came to an end on Wednesday. They blew past Littlerock 50-4 at home. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win Quartz Hill has managed all season.
Quartz Hill found their leader in underclassman Ashantee Palmer, who scored 20 points. That makes it six consecutive games in which Palmer has scored at least 25% of Quartz Hill's points. The team also got some help courtesy of My'arie Mcalpine, who scored 12 points along with four steals.
Quartz Hill's victory bumped their record up to 5-7. As for Littlerock, they bumped their record down to 0-9 with that loss, which was their 13th straight on the road dating back to last season.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Desert Christian the next time they take the court. Quartz Hill will head out to face Desert Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, while Littlerock will head out to face them at 5:00 p.m. on January 11, 2024.
