There's no place like home for the New Covenant Christian Flames , who bounced back after a tough loss on the road on Monday. They enjoyed a cozy 49-33 victory over Varsity Opponent on Tuesday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as New Covenant Christian also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2017.
New Covenant Christian was led to victory by Miracle Hershey and Qynne Demler. Hershey scored 13 points along with five rebounds and five steals, while Demler scored 22 points. That makes it four consecutive games in which Demler has scored at least a third of New Covenant Christian's points. Another player making a difference was Adrianna Yeagley, who scored three points along with six rebounds.
New Covenant Christian has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-7 record this season. As for Varsity Opponent, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 122-435.
