The North Clarion Wolves will be playing at home against the Otto-Eldred Terrors at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
North Clarion pushed their score all the way to 55 on Wednesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell 62-55 to Punxsutawney. While losing is never fun, North Clarion can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 222nd, while the Chucks are ranked 61st).
Meanwhile, Otto-Eldred waltzed into their match on Tuesday with four straight wins but they left with five. They walked away with a 49-37 win over Austin.
Otto-Eldred got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Rayel Hakes out in front who scored 16 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Hakes has scored all season. Addie Bell was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
This is the second loss in a row for North Clarion and nudges their season record down to 8-4. As for Otto-Eldred, they have been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season.
