Norte Vista is 1-9 against the Trojans since January of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Norte Vista Braves will head out on the road to face off against the Hillcrest Trojans at 7:00 p.m.
Last Tuesday, Norte Vista had to suffer through a rough 65-33 loss at the hands of the Rams. Norte Vista was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-9.
Hillcrest fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back wins it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They put the hurt on La Sierra with a sharp 47-26 victory on Tuesday.
This is the second loss in a row for Norte Vista and nudges their season record down to 13-12. As for Hillcrest, their win bumped their record up to 6-20.
Norte Vista beat the Trojans 36-29 when the teams last played back in January. The rematch might be a little tougher for Norte Vista since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
