Poway is 1-9 against Rancho Bernardo since May of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Monday. The Titans will be playing at home against the Broncos at 4:00 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Poway is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They blew past San Marcos 14-8 on Friday. The victory was some much needed relief for the Titans as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.
Poway got a great performance from Owen Digenan as he struck out six batters over five innings while giving up five earned (and one unearned) runs off seven hits (and only one walk). Digenan also tossed a walk, which is notable because the Titans are 3-1 when he allows at most two walks, but 3-10 otherwise.

Poway kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since back in March of 2024.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Rancho Bernardo, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They had just enough and edged out La Costa Canyon 6-4.
Noah Villa looked comfortable as he tossed four innings while giving up just one earned run off six hits. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive appearances.
