After losing to the Washington Eagles the last time they met, the El Camino Colts decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. El Camino walked away with a 33-26 victory over Washington on Friday.
Mariah Flores was her usual excellent self, scoring 25 points. That makes it 11 consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of El Camino's points.
El Camino's win bumped their record up to 4-8. As for Washington, they bumped their record down to 4-6 with that defeat, which was their third straight on the road.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. El Camino will take on South San Francisco at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. South San Francisco is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last three games. As for Washington, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Immaculate Conception at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Immaculate Conception has now lost seven straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 7.
