The Centennial Knights will head out on the road to  square off against  the Chattahoochee Cougars at 5:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Centennial is coming into the  contest on  a  five-game losing streak.
 Last Saturday, it was a hard-fought  game, but Centennial had to settle for  a  6-5 loss against Lambert.
  Jake Hickox made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 2-for-3.
 Meanwhile, Chattahoochee suffered a  rough 12-3 defeat at the hands of Marietta  on Saturday. Chattahoochee has now  taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
 Chattahoochee also got a good showing from  Kenya Brewer, who   pitched four innings while giving up just two earned runs off   three  hits (he also only allowed one  walk). Brewer has been consistent recently: he hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in six consecutive pitching appearances.
 At the plate,  Aidan Petrocco was cooking despite his team's loss,   scoring two  runs while going 3-for-4. Another player making a difference was  Anderson Agueros, who  went 1-for-2 with two  RBI.
 Centennial's record is now 5-19. As for Chattahoochee, their loss  ended  a  three-game streak of away wins  and  brought them to 8-14.
 Centennial took their  victory against Chattahoochee  in their previous matchup  back in April of 2023 by a conclusive  12-0. Will Centennial repeat their success,  or does  Chattahoochee have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
