Montclair made the biggest jump in the standings this week, moving from sixth to first place in Mt. Baldy thanks to a 4-1 record over the past seven days. Meanwhile, the Tigers fell hardest in the standings, dropping from second all the way to fifth place after going 0-2 in the past week.
Chaffey's pitching was especially stingy this week, allowing 27 hits and nine walks to lead the league in both categories.
The Cavaliers had trouble finding a groove at the plate as a team this week, racking up a league-leading 42 strikeouts. The league's worst in that category with 42 strikeouts on the season are Montclair.
The week's strikeout crown belonged to
Robert Campos, who turned in four Ks for the Tigers. With nine strikeouts this year so far, he ranks third in the league.
