They walked away with a 32-23 win over Central Dauphin. Given North Allegheny's advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked eighth, while Central Dauphin is ranked 47th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Despite the defeat, Central Dauphin saw an underclassman step up: Olivia Green scored six points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
North Allegheny's victory was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-1. As for Central Dauphin, their loss dropped their record down to 12-2.
North Allegheny will head out on the road to square off against Norwin at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Norwin is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last four games. As for Central Dauphin, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Central Dauphin East at 7:30 p.m.
