On Tuesday, Calvary Baptist beat Entrepreneur 38-26.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Calvary Baptist to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jawel Pummarachai, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and ten rebounds. That's the first time this season that Pummarachai scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of An Lei, who scored nine points along with 14 rebounds and six steals.
Calvary Baptist's win bumped their record up to 6-7. As for Entrepreneur, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-8.
Calvary Baptist will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Bethel Christian at 5:30 p.m. Bethel Christian is hoping to put an end to a five-game streak of away losses. Entrepreneur won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Palm Springs at 6:00 p.m. on January 17th. Palm Springs is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak.
