Having just played yesterday, the Foothill Mustangs will get right back to it and host the Valley Vikings at 7:30 p.m. on February 7th. The pair have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Foothill and five for Valley.
On Tuesday, Foothill came up short against Cordova and fell 32-19.
Joyce Runner put forth a good effort for the losing side as she scored nine points. That was a full 47.4% of Foothill's points, marking the third time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Meanwhile, Valley was the victim of a rough 40-17 defeat at the hands of Cordova on Friday.
Foothill has not been sharp recently as the team's lost 11 of their last 14 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-14 record this season. As for Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 6-20.
