Crisp Academy dropped down to 3-8 on Tuesday, ending the team's three-game streak of wins. They came up short against the Fullington Academy Trojans, falling 17-2. The Wildcats were red-hot at the plate heading into the matchup (they scored no less than ten runs in the three games prior), but the Trojans' pitchers proved too tough.

Fullington Academy's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-3. Their hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

For Fullington Academy's part, Brantley Ross made a splash while hitting and pitching. He didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched. Ross was also big at the plate, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with three stolen bases and three runs. Those three runs gave him a new career-high.

In other batting news, Cash Greene was a standout: he got on base in three of his four plate appearances with three stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. Those two RBI gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Tucker Sorrow, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Crisp Academy will host Scintilla Charter Academy at 5:00 p.m. on the 26th. As for Fullington Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Westwood at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
