The Brockway Rovers suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Saturday. They had to suffer through a rough 55-19 loss at the hands of Coudersport. Brockway was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Coudersport apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2020.
Despite the defeat, Brockway saw an underclassman step up: Sophia Schmader scored nine points along with nine rebounds.
Brockway has been struggling recently, as they've lost six of their last seven matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season. As for Coudersport, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 7-3.
Brockway will be playing in front of their home fans against Johnsonburg at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Coudersport, they will head out on the road to face off against Bradford at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
