This season hasn't been kind to the Gunn Titans, who are still winless after their sixth contest. They might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting Los Altos an easy 61-35 victory. Gunn has not had much luck with Los Altos recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Los Altos was led to victory by Ella McFarlane and Natalie Holm. McFarlane scored 12 points along with five rebounds, while Holm scored nine points along with eight rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Carissa Lai, who scored six points along with four steals.
Gunn bumped their record down to 0-6 with that loss, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Los Altos, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 5-6 record this season.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Gunn won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Harbor at 1:30 p.m. on December 16th. Harbor's defense has only allowed 28.5 points per game this season, so Gunn's offense will have their work cut out for Gunn. Los Altos will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Palo Alto at 6:15 p.m. on January 5, 2024.
