Dublin is still undefeated this season after their match against Wilcox on Saturday, but Wilcox came as close as anyone has to beating them. The Dublin Gaels never let the Wilcox Chargers get on the board and left with a 1-0 win. The one-run effort marked the Gaels' lowest-scoring game of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Andrew Zorinich tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run over 5.2 innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run any time he's pitched this season.

At the plate, Dublin saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Matthew Phelps, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4.

Dublin's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-0. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.6 runs on average over those games. As for Wilcox, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-4 record this season.
