The El Camino Eagles put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They claimed a resounding 63-11 win over San Juan on the road. Given El Camino's advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 96th, while San Juan is ranked 733rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
It was another big night for Noelle Potratz, who dropped a double-double on 30 points and 15 rebounds. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more blocks the last four times she's played. Another player making a difference was Taylor Stake, who scored 12 points along with 5 steals.
El Camino has yet to lose a matchup on the road this season, leaving them with a 5-0 record. As for San Juan, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-5.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. El Camino's road trip will continue as they head out to face Burbank at 6:30 p.m. on November 29th. Hopefully Burbank focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 43 on Monday. As for San Juan, they will head out on the road to face off against Foothill at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
