Olathe Northwest not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since October 8, 2024 (when they won 3-0). They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Bishop Miege Stags. This was payback for the Ravens, who suffered a 3-1 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Olathe Northwest never let Bishop Miege on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-12, 25-22.

Despite the loss, Bishop Miege had strong showings from Kelly Neenan, who had 11 digs and two assists, and Liv Stevens, who had eight kills and five digs. Stevens has been hot for a while, having posted five or more kills the last ten times she's played.

Olathe Northwest has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. As for Bishop Miege, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Olathe Northwest will take on Olathe South on Saturday. As for Bishop Miege, they will venture away from home to take on Lansing on Tuesday.
