Vanden pushed their record up to 14-7 with that win, which was their sixth straight on the road. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.3 points per game. As for Armijo, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-13.
Everything came up roses for Vanden against Armijo when the teams last played back in February of 2023 as the team secured a 112-8 win. With Vanden ahead 67-4 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
