The Central Valley Hawks lost against the El Capitan Gauchos back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Central Valley was dealt a 68-20 loss at the hands of El Capitan. Central Valley was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 37-11.
El Capitan's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Avnoor Bains led the charge by scoring 11 points along with eight steals. Bains is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed three or more in the last six games she's played. Felicity Parker was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 13 points and ten rebounds.
Central Valley has traveled a rocky road recently having lost 11 of their last 12 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-23 record this season. As for El Capitan, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 20-7.
Central Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now. El Capitan also has no future games currently scheduled.
