Eastside was the 5-1 winner over North Oconee when they last played one another back in March of 2020, but their luck changed this time around. The Eagles lost 9-2 to the Titans on Tuesday. The Eagles' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Eastside saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Chase Jordan, who went 1-for-4 with one stolen base.

Eastside's defeat dropped their record down to 8-17. As for North Oconee, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 21-6.

While Eastside had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
