The South Hills Huskies won the last time they faced the United Christian Academy Eagles, and things went their way on Tuesday too. South Hills walked away with a 44-37 win over United Christian Academy. The win made it back-to-back wins for South Hills.
It was another big night for "Queen" Giselle Griego, who scored five points along with six rebounds and four steals. Those four steals set a new season-high mark for her.
South Hills has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-6 record this season. As for United Christian Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-5.
South Hills will head out on the road to face off against Rowland at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Rowland is out to stop a three-game streak of losses at home. United Christian Academy and Foothill will round out the year against one another at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday at. Foothill will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps California Rankings (they are ranked 826th, while United Christian Academy is ranked 362nd).
