The Norte Vista Braves lost against the Ramona Rams back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Norte Vista was beaten by the Rams 65-33. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Norte Vista in their matchups with the Rams: they've now lost four in a row.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Ramona to victory, but perhaps none more so than Olivia Molina, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 18 rebounds. Athena Berber was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 17 points and 12 rebounds.
Norte Vista's defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-13. As for Ramona, the victory was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 17-10.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Norte Vista will face off against the Trojans at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hillcrest has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Ramona, they will head out on the road to challenge the Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Patriot is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
