Despite the loss, Ripon Christian still got an impressive performance from Maddie Yonker, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 11 rebounds. Yonker is on a roll when it comes to points, as she's now scored 15 or more in the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Kara Kessler, who scored six points.
Riverbank was led to victory by taylor macias and Rayne Tago. macias scored 12 points, while Tago scored nine points along with eight rebounds and three steals. Tago hasn't dropped below two steals for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaelyn Tongson, who scored five points.
Ripon Christian's defeat was their third straight at home, which bumped their record down to 10-8. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 26.3 points per game. As for Riverbank, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 13-4.
