The Elite Eagles had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against Leroy Greene Academy by a score of 35-25 on Thursday. The win was just what Elite needed coming off of a 74-9 loss in their prior contest.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Elite to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jeneyah Fowler, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and 25 rebounds. Fowler hasn't dropped below 13 rebounds for five straight games. Rhema Armstrong was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with five rebounds and five steals.
Elite's win ended a 13-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-22. As for Leroy Greene Academy, their defeat was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-12.
Elite does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Leroy Greene Academy also has no future games currently scheduled.
