R-S Central lost against Polk County back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result  on Tuesday.  Despite the  loss, R-S Central saw an underclassman step up: sophomore  Alena Jimerson  posted 14  points. Those 14 points gave  Jimerson a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of  Lai Flack, who  scored eight  points.
 It was another big night for  Kylie Lewis, who  went 8-for-14  on her way to 18 points and eight  boards for Polk County. The  game was  Lewis' third in a row with at least 15 points. Another player making a difference was  Jayden Duncan, who  earned eight  points and seven  rebounds.
R-S Central's defeat dropped their record down to 8-16. As for Polk County, the  win was  the 12th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 21-1.
 R-S Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Polk County, they will host Hendersonville  at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday. Polk County is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 59.6  points per game  this season.
