Lynwood dropped down to 5-4 on Saturday, ending the team's four-game streak of wins. They had to suffer through an 89-44 loss at the hands of Ontario Christian. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Lynwood of the 77-50 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February.

Several Knights players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Emma Iheanachor, who went 5-for-7 on her way to 10 points and seven boards. Iheanachor is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as she's posted one of at least 54% in the last three games she's played. Shanilah Ewing was another key player, shooting 50% from the field en route to 16 points.

As for Ontario Christian, the win keeps them at an undefeated 12-0. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 95.6 points this season.

Kaleena Smith continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double with 34 points and ten assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Chloe Jenkins, who dropped a double-double with 15 points and 14 rebounds.

Lynwood has already played their next matchup, a 42-31 loss against Canyon View on the 18th. As for Ontario Christian, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 77-47 win against Riverdale Ridge on the 19th.
