There's no place like home for Campbell, who bounced back after a  loss on the road  on Monday. They were the clear victors by  a  12-4 margin over the McEachern Indians on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for the Spartans, who have now won seven matches by six  runs or more  so far this season.
  Maiya Washington and  Carter Smith did most of the damage at the plate:  Washington  went a perfect 2-for-2 with two  runs, one  triple,  and one  double, while  Smith  went 2-for-3 with two  runs, one  triple,  and two  RBI. Those  two  runs gave  Smith a new career-high. Another player making a difference was  Harper MacDonald, who  went 2-for-3 with one  stolen base, one  run,  and one  RBI.
Campbell has  been performing  well recently as they've  won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-10 record  this season. The  victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for McEachern,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 6-9.
