Mt. Pleasant was the  31-17 winner over Derry when they last played one another  back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Vikings lost  33-13 to the Trojans on Friday. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Mt. Pleasant's loss dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Derry,  the  victory made it two in a row for them and also bumps their season record up to 5-4.
 Looking ahead, Mt. Pleasant will challenge Elizabeth Forward at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. The Vikings will need to watch out since the Warriors have now posted at least 31  points  in their last five games. As for Derry, they will square off against Yough at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. The Trojans will be up against the Cougars' rather soft defense (which has allowed 37.89  points per  contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
