Don Bosco Prep, a two-time national champion and 14-time state titlist, opened this season with 17-7 loss to state-ranked St. Joseph Regional (Montvale). The Ironmen bounced back by crushing Philadelphia power St. Joseph Prep on the road last week, 55-21.
Moeller, which has nine state titles to its credit, defeated Indianapolis power Cathedral in Week 1 but was edged by state-ranked Wayne (Huber Heights) the next game, 24-22. The Crusaders (2-1) took out their frustrations last Friday against an overmatched Xenia squad with a 42-12 road win. Moeller was ahead at halftime by a 42-0 score.
